Pumpkin Chili in a Crock Pot

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoonOlive oil
1 poundGround beef
1Onion chopped
2-14 ounce cansDiced tomatoes
2 cupsFresh or pureed pumpkin
115 ounce can chili beans
3 tablespoonsBrown sugar
1 tablespoonPumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoonChili powder

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat the tablespoon of olive oil in a pan on the stove on medium heat; add your ground beef, chopping it up with a spoon and cook until brown.
  2. Add the ground beef and all the ingredients to the crock-pot, stirring to combine all the ingredients.
  3. Set on low heat and cook for 6 hours.
  4. Serve with buttered cornbread.
